Know More For You was founded by survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, who experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating the criminal justice system, court processes, and the often fragmented landscape of public records.
Through our own experiences, we recognized that significant gaps exist in how information is accessed, organized, and understood, particularly in cases where concerns, reports, or legal proceedings do not result in a criminal conviction.
We created "Know More For You" to help bridge those gaps by providing a centralized platform for publicly obtainable records and related documentation that may otherwise be difficult to locate through traditional searches. Our goal is to increase access to information that can help individuals make more informed decisions about their safety and relationships.
More Detail
Our mission is to create a world where people have the information they need to make informed decisions about their safety, relationships, and communities.
The legal system often fails to produce a conviction even when overwhelming evidence exists. Survivors can securely contribute official documents — police reports, protective orders, and filed testimonies — to prevent future harm.
All submitted records are reviewed by our internal Verification Department to assess their authenticity, completeness, and eligibility for publication. As part of this process, we may verify that a submission is an official public record issued or maintained by the appropriate government agency or court and that its publication is permitted under applicable federal law and the laws of all fifty (50) U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. territories. Verification is conducted solely for publication eligibility and does not constitute a legal determination of the accuracy of the underlying allegations, liability, or guilt.
Start Secure Submission
Every document submitted to Know More For You (KMFY) is carefully reviewed by our Verification Department before publication.
To the extent reasonably practicable, we verify that each submission appears to be an authentic official public record, is lawfully available for publication, and complies with our publication standards and applicable federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial laws and regulations. We do not rush this process because accuracy, fairness, and legal compliance are our highest priorities.
Our verification process confirms only the authenticity and publication eligibility of the official record. It does not determine guilt, innocence, liability, or the truth of any allegation.

As part of our commitment to public safety and survivor empowerment, we provide a free upload process for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and related offenses to submit eligible official public legal records for review. This program is intended to help preserve important public records that may otherwise remain scattered across multiple jurisdictions or government systems and may not appear in many traditional background searches.
Our goal is to make lawfully available public record information more accessible so individuals can make more informed personal safety decisions regarding relationships and other lawful interactions, while promoting awareness and community safety.
Free uploads are available only for official public records submitted by survivors, including, but not limited to:
We do not accept medical records, private documents, or records that are confidential, sealed, expunged, restricted from public disclosure, or otherwise prohibited from publication by applicable law.
All submitted records are subject to our verification and publication standards before being accepted or displayed. Submission of a document does not guarantee publication. We reserve the right to reject any submission that cannot be authenticated, does not qualify as an official public record, violates our policies, or cannot lawfully be published.
The free benefit applies only to the upload and verification process for eligible survivor-submitted public records. It does not include subscriptions, searches, reports, memberships, or any other paid products or services offered through the platform. Any optional services remain subject to our standard pricing and terms applicable to all users.
This program is intended to provide survivors with a meaningful opportunity to have eligible public records considered for inclusion on our platform while maintaining compliance with applicable federal law and the laws of all fifty (50) U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. territories. Nothing in this program constitutes legal advice, creates a determination of liability or guilt, or alters the legal status of any public record.
