Know More For You was founded by survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault who experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating the criminal justice system, court processes, and the often-fragmented landscape of public records. Through our own experiences, we recognized that significant gaps exist in how information is accessed, organized, and understood, particularly in cases where concerns, reports, or legal proceedings do not result in a criminal conviction.
We created "Know More For You" to help bridge those gaps by providing a centralized platform for publicly obtainable records and related documentation that may otherwise be difficult to locate through traditional searches. Our goal is to increase access to key information that can help individuals make more informed decisions about their safety and relationships.
We believe that publicly documented experiences, legal filings, and protective proceedings can provide important context that is often overlooked, when information is scattered across multiple systems and jurisdictions.

We hope to contribute to a future where domestic violence, sexual assault, coercive control, and other forms of interpersonal harm are better understood, more openly addressed, and more effectively prevented. We believe that increased transparency, accountability, education, and access to resources can help create safer communities, while encouraging meaningful intervention and opportunities for behavioral change.

KMFY was founded by survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault who watched the same patterns play out again and again….a survivor comes forward, files reports, and even goes through the process of legally obtaining a protection order from a judge….yet none of it appears in standard background checks. The next person entering that individuals life has no knowledge of the alleged behavior. Often an abuse cycle repeats with another victim.
We spent long hours mapping the ecosystem of non-conviction legal public records and building a verification pipeline rigorous enough to be trusted with something this consequential. KMFY is the platform we had wished always existed. What you do not know, can indeed hurt you.
